When installing an "update" version it is important to allow the program to install to its choice of directory to insure proper importing of previous data. Known Issues ------------------ 1) There are reports that FileMaker Pro 5.5 and FileMaker Pro 5.0v3 will not launch when installed on some Dell or DTK machines running Windows 2000. When attempting to launch FileMaker Pro, either an hourglass appears and disappears, or the FileMaker Pro startup screen appears, but in both situations, the application does not complete the launch process. This has been reported to happen with the integrated Yamaha Synthesizer driver, Riptide PCI Audio or a Creative SB Audio PCI driver.
